Call for Actors for Psychology Study; Paid Opportunity

Nia Gipson is a graduate student in the Psychology Department working with James M. Lampinen. Their lab conducts eyewitness testimony research, and they often look for actors to create film materials for the lab's studies. Currently, Gipson is working on her dissertation, and she's hoping to recruit several actors.

Critically, for the purpose of this study, she needs actors who are similar in appearance. She is hoping to recruit two to five actors for this project to find a highly similar pair of actors. Filming will be a one-time event and will take one to two hours to complete. Also, they will schedule filming for a day that works best for the actors. Filming will take place in a lab in the psychology building (Memorial Hall) on campus.

Anyone can fill out the survey to apply. They are simply going to choose a group of individuals from their pool of applications who share the same physical description. You will receive more information concerning the filming upon being selected. Also, as a thank you, each actor who is selected for filming will receive a $20 gift card. Anyone interested can fill out an application.
