Applications Sought for Workshop on Career Diversity for Predoctoral Humanities Scholars
In summer 2022, Humanities Without Walls will hold a summer workshop for humanities doctoral students interested in learning how to use their skills and training for careers in the private sector such as nonprofit organizations, media or arts administration.
The summer event — which includes workshops, talks and site visits — will take place at the University of Michigan's Institute for the Humanities in Ann Arbor.
More information about the workshop, fellowship support and details of the application requirements can be found here.
The U of A can nominate one student applicant for the workshop. To be considered for this nomination, applicants should submit their draft narrative for the workshop and a two-page CV to tstarks@uark.edu by Oct. 15.
A committee from the U of A Humanities Center will review the applications. If selected by the committee as the nominee, students must submit the full application by Nov. 1.
