Over the last two decades, the Honors College has helped thousands of students fund their study abroad experience through the Honors College Study Abroad Grant. We invite honors students to apply for this funding! This year is a particularly good year to apply. For 2021-22 only, the Honors College is increasing the award amount of Honors College Study Abroad Grants! Students who win a grant this year will be awarded 50 percent of their eligible program costs.

When you click the links below, you may be prompted to log in using your UARK credentials.

Who can apply?

The Honors College Study Abroad Grant is open to current honors students in good standing who meet our credit hour eligibility requirements.

What programs can I get funding to do?

Any credit-bearing program approved by the Office of Study Abroad qualifies (with a few exceptions — see our website for more information). This includes both U of A and non-U of A programs.

When should I apply?

You should apply for the grant one to two semesters before the term of travel. The Honors College has several grant deadlines throughout the fall semester and one deadline in the spring. Visit this website for more information on when to apply based on the term you are studying abroad.

Where can I get more information?

All the details you need are available on the Honors Student Hub. You may be prompted to log in using your UARK credentials to access this site. We are offering several virtual grant workshops throughout the fall; find dates and the Zoom link to join on the Hub.
