September New Faculty Lunch Discussion
New faculty, are your inboxes filling up with CEA requests? The director of the Center for Educational Access, Laura James, will be presenting on the topic of Accommodating Students with Disabilities at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, or noon Wednesday, Sept. 8, in Arkansas Union Rooms 510-511.
Here are a few questions, you can have answered.
- Do I have to do anything when I get a notification that I have a student registered with the CEA?
- Is there somewhere that I can see all my students' accommodations in one place?
- I have a student who says they don't have to wear a mask in class because of a medical condition, is this correct?
- Do I send all my students who have testing requests to the testing center?
- Are social support animals allowed in class?
RSVP by Monday, Aug. 30, to get a free lunch. Reserve your seat. Select one day to attend.
