Come as You Arkansas will offer food, fun, prizes and interactive activities for the entire campus and community on Sept. 10.

All are invited to Come as You Arkansas, an all-day event celebrating the University of Arkansas' 150th anniversary with about 50 interactive activities highlighting the university's mission, vision, history and future.

Campus-wide gatherings are planned throughout campus with students, faculty and staff showcasing the university's innovative ideas, research and far-reaching impact.

Come as You Arkansas is open to all.  Many events wil  be held outdoors throughout the day, and participants are encouraged to come as they are - comfy and casual. Watch our latest latest Short Takes video to hear what Come As You Arkansas and the U of A means to some of our students, faculty and staff.

Signature events for Come as You Arkansas include a kickoff breakfast and campus welcome at 8:15 a.m. and the official birthday party of the 150th celebration at 1:00 p.m. The kickoff breakfast will be co-hosted by the Associated Student Government at the Greek Theatre and will feature special guests, donuts, coffee and juice. The sesquicentennial birthday party will take place on the Union Mall and include music, sweet treats, and giveaways.

Throughout the day, multiple partners across campus will be offering special exhibits, tours, and opportunities for engagement. Enjoy a self-guided walking tour, visit with the university's K9 team or check out a Sand Hog demonstration on Senior Walk. All program offerings, times and locations can be viewed at 150.uark.edu/come-as-you-arkansas.php.

Attendees are encouraged to visit "The Heart of Hospitality" welcome tent, presented in partnership with the Bumpers College School of Human Environmental Sciences, located at the Union Mall. In addition to picking up a Come as You Arkansas program, guests can receive concierge service, including help planning your day, access to campus maps and directions and more details about the events being hosted throughout campus.

Come as You Arkansas will be a rain or shine event. Parking maps, the schedule and other tips can be found on the Come as You Arkansas website.
