Members Sought for Employee Impact Groups
The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the University of Arkansas is actively recruiting new members to its seven Employee Impact Groups.
The groups, which are led voluntarily by employees, allow members to support each other through inclusivity, workplace alignment and give employees an opportunity share identity such as gender, ethnicity, lifestyles or other interests. The groups impact the U of A campus and community by providing cultural awareness events, mentoring opportunities for students, and partnering with similar organizations across Northwest Arkansas.
The university currently offers the following Employee Impact Groups:
- Armed Forces Employee Impact Group
- Asian Pacific Americans Employee Impact Group
- Black Employee Impact Group, Adrian Smith
- Indigenous Employee Impact Group
- Disability Employee Impact Group
- Latinx Employee Impact Group
- Lavender Society Employee Impact Group
Those wishing to participate in a group can complete a form to register to participate. The president of your selected group will contact you with additional information.
