'Yass, Hogs' to Celebrate Black Queerness and Drag

The PRIDE Alumni Society, in collaboration with the Office for Diversity and Inclusion and the Multicultural Center, will host a virtual event 6:30 p.m. today, Monday, Feb. 15, to celebrate and reflect on the legacy of Black LGBTQIA-plus icons, heroes and divas who gave their passion and lives for the cause of intersectional Pride.

The event will feature a performance from JAX, a visual artist and drag performer living and working in NYC. In their visual work, JAX explores their queer and Black identities in predominantly white spaces. Embracing their athleticism and competitive cheer background, JAX is a high energy, unapologetic, and dynamic performer ready to give you stunts and shenanigans with a Gen-Z political perspective curating and hosting shows such as "Black is Queen" a weekly showcase of QPOC performers).

Registration is required to attend the event.
