Psychological Science Department Is Recruiting Three Undergraduates for Diversity Committee

The Department of Psychological Science is recruiting three undergraduate representatives for its Diversity Committee.

Requirements:

  • Must be a psychology major or minor
  • Must be an incoming sophomore, junior, or senior as of fall 2021
  • Attend a monthly diversity committee meeting and sub-committee meetings as needed
  • Must be able to commit approximately 3 hours per week

Undergraduate Representative Expectations:

Undergraduate representatives should have a willingness to share ideas and experiences with other committee members and be prepared to advance diversity and inclusion-related initiatives surrounding undergraduate education.

Preferred qualities:

  • Passionate about diversity-related issues
  • Open-minded
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with colleagues
  • Investment in the Department of Psychological Science
  • Creative
