Ignite the Leader in You! Applications Due February 5th.

The University of Arkansas Emerging Leaders Program is seeking first-year students who want to take their leadership skills to the next level.

This semester, Emerging Leaders will be offered as a completely virtual experience. Students will have the option of completing the 8-week online program on their own time or on a week-by-week basis with a cohort of fellow students. Some of the topics that will be covered include diversity in leadership, ethics, mentorship, and communication and conflict.

The deadline to sign up for the cohort-style program is Feb. 5, and the program will begin on Feb. 8. There will be rolling enrollment for the on-your-own program throughout the semester.

Emerging Leaders is offered through the office of New Student & Family Programs.

Anyone interested in the program can learn more or apply at leadership.uark.edu. For questions, please email Jonas Zabriskie at jezabris@uark.edu.
