February German Cooking Club: Swiss Bread
The February German Cooking Club will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6; this month will be actually be a baking club, since we are baking the famous Cory-Ricker Swiss bread recipe, developed by a Swiss baker to recreate European-style bread using American ingredients.
It makes four loaves — crunchy on the outside, chewy in the middle, and they freeze extremely well. And, it does not require any special equipment beyond a large bowl and two baking sheets. The club is meeting virtually on Zoom; it is free and open to any member of the public with a Zoom account.
Register and receive the ingredient list and the link to the meeting.
