Fulbright Scholars Information and Application Workshop for Faculty and Staff

The Fulbright Scholars programs are for faculty and staff interested in an international experience as part of the Fulbright Program for International Exchange. The Fulbright Scholars programs include the U.S. Scholars program, the Distinguished Chair program, the International Education Administrators seminar trips, the Arctic Initiative, the Post-Doctoral and Early Career awards, and the Global Scholar award.

Curt Rom, a Fulbright Senior Scholar at Padova University, Italy, and the UA campus Fulbright program liaison, will host a virtual workshop to review the various programs available to faculty and staff. In addition he will review programs to host Fulbright Scholars on campus.

"My Fulbright scholars experience, for my off-campus duty assignment, was very professionally and personally rewarding," Rom says. "It was transformative. What I learned and experienced I brought back to my lab group and all my classes."

The application workshop will be available through Zoom from 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, and is open to all faculty and staff interested in the Fulbright program. More information is available on the UA Fulbright Scholars webpage.
