FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The 86th annual U of A United Way Campaign has been extended through Friday, Nov. 6. As of Friday, Oct. 30, the campus had raised more than $57,000 — and your help is needed to meet the goal of $100,000 for children and families in Northwest Arkansas.

"We know that October is always hectic, and we want to give everyone a little more time to contribute," said Margaret Sova McCabe, dean of the School of Law and co-chair for the 2020 campaign. "Every gift is important, and together we have a greater impact."

Ninety-eight percent of every donation stays in Northwest Arkansas and goes directly to local programs that feed, shelter and educate our friends and neighbors of all ages and backgrounds.

"These final days are critical," said Deacue Fields, dean of the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences and campaign co-chair. "We appreciate everyone who has given already, and we hope those who haven't will take this extra time to join our efforts."

Payroll deductions, recurring gifts or one-time credit card donations can be made online at unitedway.uark.edu. Faculty and staff may donate to a specific agency through the United Way of Northwest Arkansas. Any donation of $100 or more to a 501(c)(3) organization, as defined by the IRS, and serving Northwest Arkansas, will be passed on directly to that organization.

Now more than ever, the United Way of NWA needs you to help children, teens, families and elderly in Northwest Arkansas. Show the community the difference this campus can make, and contribute today.
