Students on the Perpignan Program enjoying a French meal

Students interested in learning about the summer study abroad program in Perpignan are invited to attend a virtual info session Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 4 p.m. 

This program offers intermediate and advanced students in French an intensive program in French language and culture. Dr. Hope Christiansen and Dr. Kathy Comfort will accompany the group to Perpignan and remain on site for the first week of the program, and experienced CUEF staff provides the instruction. Students will be housed with French families, which will allow full immersion in the language and insight into French culture while increasing confidence and competency in communicating in French.

The Office of Study Abroad and International Education provides current information about the impact of COVID-19 on international travel. The staff continues to advise on summer and fall 2021 programs, anticipating continued improvements to global travel circumstances. Programs scheduled to depart after May 2021 are moving forward as planned but may be subject to postponement or suspension as the global situation evolves.
