Adjustments Made in Razorback Transit Service
Riders on Razorback Transit should be aware of service adjustments that begin on Monday, Oct. 5.
The changes will affect routes 11, 13, 21, 22, 26, 33, 35, 44, and 48. For specific information on each change, you may go to Passio GO! or the Transit and Parking website.
Such changes are common from time to time.
For example, each fall semester, after classes have been in session for a few weeks, Razorback Transit makes modifications in routes based upon ridership and where bus routes can serve the greatest number of passengers.
One factor considered before making the upcoming changes is that ridership is down (which is understandable with fewer people coming to campus than normal).
Razorback Transit operations are continually monitored so adjustments can be made for a more efficient use of existing buses and routes. In short, the goal is to reach the most people given the resources available.
