Northwest Arkansas MLK Council to Host Voter Registration and COVID Testing

A drive-through voter registration and free COVID testing will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the Historic St. James Baptist Church on the northeast corner of North Street and Leverett Avenue in Fayetteville.

The Northwest Arkansas Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Council and the Community Clinic of Northwest Arkansas are conducting the event.

Other partners include the Tea Rose Foundation of Northwest Arkansas, the Walmart Black Technology Network and the U of A Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance.

Organizers are looking for for volunteers, and students who are interested can register through GivePulse to volunteer.
