University Provided Health Kits for Students Now Available at Locations Across Campus
Student Heath Kits
Students at the University of Arkansas who haven't picked up a COVID-19 Health Kit yet can do so at locations across campus starting today. A first round of distribution the first three days of class last week placed the kits in the hands of several thousand students.
Students will be able to pick up the kits at the following days, locations and times, and should present their Student I.D. when picking up a kit.
Arkansas Union:
Campus Card Office, Room 427
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Special Instructions: Only 2 customers allowed in the office at a time. Please enter through the door closest to the middle stairwell.
Information Desk
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.
Walton College:
The Help desk in Walton College 2nd floor entrance
The Help desk in Willard J. Walker Hall 2nd floor entrance, next to Einstein's Bagels
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
University Recreation:
HPER building door 1 and door 3 entrances.
Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday 1 to 10 p.m.
Kits will be available to grab as they enter/exit the building while supplies last
Graduate School:
Gearhart Hall, Room 213
Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
To help ensure the health and safety of everyone on campus the university is providing these Health Kits for students that include supplies such as face coverings and hand sanitizer. U of A faculty and staff received similar kits.
Each student kit contains 2 reusable masks (one branded), 5 disposable masks, a thermometer, hand sanitizer and information about COVID-19 and related resources.
"Face coverings are required at all times indoors and required outdoors when social distancing of at least six feet can't be assured, so we want to make sure everyone is equipped to start the semester off the right way," said Charles Robinson, provost and vice chancellor for student and academic affairs. "The behavior of our students, faculty and staff in terms of following the safety requirements outlined in the Returning to Campus plan will determine whether or not we can complete the semester as planned with in-person, hybrid and remote learning."
