To get started with Zoom, access training, and learn more about Zoom's accessibility features, IT Services has created a Zoom resource page.

Common Questions about Getting Started with Zoom

What do I do if I currently/previously had a Zoom account with a UARK email address?

If you already had a Zoom account with your UARK email address, you should have received or will soon receive an email from Zoom with the following message:

"Your UARK Zoom Administrator (zoom@uark.edu) has requested to add you into their Zoom account (University of Arkansas, Fayetteville). If you agree, please click the button below to approve within 30 days."

This is a legitimate email.  Please click the link to consolidate your account. It may take some time for your account to be successfully consolidated. Once your UARK Zoom account is available, you can login using the desktop app with "Sign on with SSO" using your UARK email and password. If asked, you'll enter "uark" as the company domain. You can also login at uark.zoom.us with your University of Arkansas email and password.

What do I do if I currently have a Zoom account with my UARK email address, but I do not want to consolidate my account?

You should go to https://zoom.us and change your email address on your account to a non-UARK email address. After you change your email address, you can now visit uark.zoom.us and login with your UARK email and password to setup your campus Zoom account.

What if I get an error about my password when I try to login?

It may take some time for your account to be successfully consolidated. You will no longer use your old Zoom password and will instead need to login with your UARK email and password. Once your UARK Zoom account is available, you can login using the desktop app with "Sign on with SSO."  If asked, you'll enter "uark" as the company domain. You can also login at uark.zoom.us with your University of Arkansas email and password.

How can I learn more about Zoom?
