The Chartwells team donned face masks and gloves to pick up debris along the Oak Ridge Trail, while also maintaining physical distance, in honor of Earth Day.

Yesterday, the Chartwells team took in some fresh air while picking up debris on their adopted walking trail on campus — Oak Ridge Trail.

This Earth Day looked different — with face masks, gloves, a 6-foot rule, and no physical celebration. The team met in the morning to make sure it was still a day that they acknowledged and devoted time to.

"This morning was a great opportunity to work together as a team and not just virtually. I enjoyed getting to do a good act for the environment, working alongside my coworkers and supporting the Fayetteville community," said Kenzie Cvar, marketing and sustainability manager.

Chartwells has been sponsoring and keeping the Oak Ridge Trail clean since 2018.
