Students for Refugees RSO Now Accepting Applications for 2020-21 Officer Positions

Students for Refugees is excited to announce that applications for our 2020-21 officer board are open!

Students for Refugees is an on-campus RSO dedicated to advocating for and supporting refugees in our community and around the world. The organization is looking for compassionate and dedicated student leaders to serve on its officer board during the 2020-21 school year.

Applicants should be invested in advocating for better opportunities for refugees in Northwest Arkansas and throughout the world, willing to learn and able to commit to weekly officer meetings and biweekly member meetings. No previous involvement with Students for Refugees or refugee issues is required and full position descriptions can be found in the application form.

This is a great opportunity for students to develop skills in advocacy, event planning, fundraising, cross-cultural communication, leadership and many other areas.

Interested students can apply at online application form and questions about Students for Refugees and officer positions can be directed to Students for Refugees president Megan Rodgers at mer030@uark.edu. Additionally, follow us on instagram @uarkstudentswithrefugees.
