Tip of the Day: Tutoring Support

Although drop-in tutoring face to face isn't available, you can chat online with the same questions.
Russell Cothren, University Relations

Although drop-in tutoring face to face isn't available, you can chat online with the same questions.

The Center for Learning and Student Success is still providing all academic support services, albeit from a distance. You can schedule an online tutoring appointment, drop-in for an online chat with a tutor or academic coach, and receive supplemental instruction through Blackboard Collaborate.

Chat Online
Chat Online options have been expanded to include buttons for every course tutored. Use Chat just like you used drop-in tutoring—no appointment, no problem.

Tutoring
Here's a chance to get online tutoring through a virtual classroom. Tutoring is provided by discipline for specific courses. Click here to view the list of courses tutored.

Writing Support
Writing Support currently offers asynchronous review of your writing.  Schedule an online appointment to submit your paper, or look for Writing Support on the Chat page to ask questions of the writing tutors.

Academic Coaches
Academic Coaches are ready to help you transition to remote learning.  They offer strategies for time management, learning styles, studying effectively, and more. Chat with an Academic Coach.

For more general information on health and academics, check out the Frequently Asked Questions on the university's Update Page.
