Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation Postpones Research Week Activities

While no members of the university community have been diagnosed with COVID-19, it is imperative to prepare for that potential which includes a realistic assessment of public gathering of individuals on campus.

With this in mind, all activities associated with Research Week, originally scheduled for March 30 to April 3, will be postponed until further notice. Details to reschedule these events will be announced at a later time.

Quoting the chancellor's recent dispatch to the U of A community: "We should also all work to minimize unnecessary gatherings of groups of people on campus for the remainder of the semester. I understand that this move will create many challenges for us all. … Please remain supportive, respectful and empathetic to one another as we move forward."

Updates will be added to the Research Week webpage. Follow @UofA_research on Twitter and Instagram for announcements.
