VCRI to Host NSF Early Career Workshop March 10

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation invites all junior faculty members to the NSF Early Career Workshop. It will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, in ARKU 510-511.

The workshop will include a panel discussion with previous NSF CAREER award recipients, tips on proposal development, and the opportunity to ask questions on how best to develop proposals. This provides an opportunity to network with experienced researchers and reviewers for junior faculty. Lunch will be provided for attendees.

"U of A has had phenomenal success in the last few years with the number of NSF Early CAREER Awards," says Daniel Sui, vice chancellor for research and innovation. "We would like to continue that upward trajectory. The CAREER programs serve a critical role in NSF's efforts to identify, foster, and support the nation's most promising junior faculty in both research and education.

Participants are encouraged to register soon, space is limited. Please RSVP by emailing jlm091@uark.edu with the subject line "RSVP NSF Workshop."
