The Department of English invites students to attend "The Rhetoric of Games," a board games event from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, in J.B. Hunt Center 146.

The event features a brief talk on the design of contemporary board games and its impact on accessibility by Tony Bushner, a researcher in board games design practices. After the talk, students will have time to play a variety of board games and assess for themselves whether or not these games are accessible.

Some of the games we will explore include: Nyctophobia, Five Tribes, Settlers of Catan, and many more! Refreshments will also be provided. Come join us for food, fun, and games!

The event is free and is open to all students who are currently enrolled in the University of Arkansas.
