UREC and Alumni Association to Host Third Annual Running of the Hogs Race

University Recreation and the Arkansas Alumni Association at the U of A will host their third annual Running of the Hogs Race. This event will take place Saturday, March 7, and will include both a 5k and 10k race. The route will run throughout the U of A campus, beginning at the Razorback Gardens.

5k Race

Registration cost for the 5K will be $18 for adult Arkansas Alumni members and $20 for non-members. The U of A student cost is $8 for student Alumni members and $10 for non-members.

10k Race

Registration cost for the 10k will be $23 for adult Arkansas Alumni members and $25 for non-members. The U of A student cost is $13 for student alumni members and $15 for non-members.

Children 12 and under may register for the races free of charge with a participating adult.

Check in and day of registration for the race will begin at 7:45 a.m. at the Razorback Gardens. The 5k race begins at 9:15 a.m. and the 10k race begins at 9 a.m. Participants who register by Monday, March 2, are eligible for early packet pick-up from March 4 through March 6 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Arkansas Alumni Association at 491 N. Razorback Rd.
