A power outage will affect the Data Center on Jan. 5.

University online services will be impacted during a generator test performed by Facilities Management Sunday, Jan. 5, in the Administrative Services Building (ADSB), which houses the campus Data Center.

IT Services will begin shutting down Data Center services and systems at 6 a.m. before the building loses power at 9 a.m.

Services including wired and wireless internet (Wi-Fi) on the ADSB network, BASIS/webBASIS, UAConnect, Razorbuck$ (Transact), Perceptive Content, Nebula, UARK Central Login, OmniUpdate and some university websites will be unavailable during the outage.

All systems will be brought back online once power is restored. Core services are expected to be operational by 5 p.m. Jan. 5, but some systems might take longer. Outages could extend into the evening if issues arise during testing. An all-clear message will be provided once systems are verified.

Service impact updates and additional details about the outage are available on the IT Status Monitor.
