Scantrons can now be dropped off at the IT Help Desk in the Union.

IT Services processes an average of 64,000 scantrons each year, with a large portion happening at the end of each semester. As faculty, staff and instructors begin preparing for scanning and scoring this semester, here are some helpful tips:

  • Scanning services staff have relocated from Gibson Annex to the Administrative Services Building (ADSB) on Razorback Road.
  • Scantrons can now be dropped off at the IT Help Desk in the Arkansas Union. Scantrons batches of any size can be dropped off at this central location between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tests will be picked up twice a day for scanning. Email scantron@uark.edu to coordinate large-batch drop-offs outside Help Desk hours.
  • Be sure to include a completed scanning request form with every scantron batch.
  • An additional 24-hour drop box is located in the front entrance of ADSB. Tests can easily be dropped off without parking. IT Services requests that only small batches be left in the box at this location.
  • Self-scanning services are located on the first floor of ADSB. To ensure staff is available to assist with this process, please email scantron@uark.edu to schedule a time for scanning.

Find scantron drop-off forms and learn more about scanning services on the IT Services website. For additional questions, email scantron@uark.edu.
