A. Brooks Bowden, an assistant professor in the Education Policy Division at the University of Pennsylvania, will speak at the University of Arkansas on Friday, Nov. 22, in a lecture titled, "Simplifying Cost Study Design for Education Field Trials."

The program will be at noon in room 343 of the Graduate Education Building. The Friday lecture series is hosted by the Department of Education Reform of the University of Arkansas College of Education and Health Professions.

Her applied evaluation research focuses on supporting student learning by leveraging external partnerships with families, communities, and other service agencies in order to enrich the resources provided to students.

In 2018, professor Bowden was recognized as a top "40 for 40" early career scholar by the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management.

Unless otherwise indicated, all lectures will be held at noon on Fridays in GRAD 343. Please make sure to RSVP before 1 p.m. on the Wednesday before the scheduled lecture.

The 2019-20 lecture series and other information can be found on the website of the department.
