Northwest Arkansas Technology Summit Offers Discounted Tickets for Students

The sixth Northwest Arkansas Technology Summit will take place from Oct. 20-23. The University of Arkansas Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation is a partner of the event.

Nestled in the beautiful hills of the Ozarks, the NWA Tech Summit will showcase a speaker lineup of industry leaders and innovators. A range of companies — from tech giants to startups — will be represented, including Microsoft, Google, and IBM.

Speaker topics will include supply chain innovation, entrepreneurship, data analysis, blockchain, global innovation, retailing, and the music of gaming, among others. Additional seminars and workshops are available with the purchase of a separate ticket. Go to the full agenda of the summit.

Jordan Carlisle, vice president of economic development and entrepreneurship at the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce, encourages learners from all walks of life to attend the NWA Tech Summit.

"Northwest Arkansas Technology Summit will be an opportunity for those new to technology — young professionals learning about it or those working in the field — to connect with and learn from leaders who are on the cutting edge of technology on a global scale," Carlisle said.

In addition to the speakers and seminars, the event will offer opportunities for activities, food, networking and venue exploration as well. Over the course of three days, the event will be hosted at locations such as Crystal Bridges, the John Q. Hammons Center, and various locations in Downtown Bentonville such as 8th Street Market.
