Online Metrics Dashboard Allows For Evaluation of Mission Progress

A number of measures of key, university-level outcomes are available in an easy to view metrics dashboard online, providing a more convenient way to evaluate the progress and impact of the university's strategic plan.

The online dashboard includes graphs and charts of more than two-dozen metrics in groupings aligned with the university's strategic plan and guiding priorities.

"Regularly evaluating the impact of our strategic plan to allow for recalibration when needed is as important to our long-term success as the initial plan itself," said Jim Coleman, provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs. "The online dashboard provides important information at a glance allowing us to always keep tabs on our progress while highlighting areas where additional effort or new strategies may be required."

The strategic plan site includes updated goals, actions, achievements and metrics listed for each of the guiding priorities while also providing access to the full metrics dashboard.

The guiding priorities and strategic plan were developed through a campus-wide collaborative process that started in January, 2016.
