Although it's fall and football season on the Hill, planning is already underway for the U of A's annual All In for Arkansas giving day, set for April 1-2, 2020!

All In for Arkansas unites the Razorback family on campus and around the world for 1,871 minutes of fun and philanthropy. Last year's record-breaking event rallied 1,420 gifts and raised more than $465,000 for 153 different funds across campus, from scholarships and study abroad to digitization projects and student-success initiatives.

Interested in raising money for your own university initiative and being a part of the #Allin4Arkansas buzz on social media? This year, it's easier than ever for participating groups to raise funds for a specific project, program, department or scholarship during giving day—all to impact U of A students.

Come learn more during the fall All In for Arkansas Lunch & Learn session! Topics include an overview of giving day, tips to maximize success and key deadlines for 2019-20. Returning, new and interested groups are encouraged to attend.

The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, at University House (1002 W. Maple Street). Registration is required by Friday, Oct. 4, to reserve your lunch.

Unsure if your project is a good fit? Review the information below or contact the Office of Annual Giving (giveback@uark.edu or 575-2944) to learn more. We hope to see you there!

What is giving day all about?
For the fifth year in a row, the University of Arkansas will be celebrating its birthday in a big way by hosting a day of giving on April 1-2, 2020. All In for Arkansas is a 1,871-minute online fundraiser that unites the Razorback family around the world and rallies support for academic programs and student-success initiatives across campus.

Can my group participate in giving day?
All giving day projects must support an official University of Arkansas department, program, project or scholarship fund. In addition to a required UA Foundation account, elements needed for a successful campaign include: a compelling cause, motivated project leaders and built-in affinity groups.

Think campus groups with passionate alumni, scholarships honoring beloved faculty members, outreach programs with widespread appeal or board-driven fundraising projects. RSOs, Greek chapters and other student groups are encouraged to participate by rallying support for a registered All In for Arkansas project with a similar mission or area of passion (i.e. Senior Walk, Student Emergency Fund, Study Abroad, or a specific academic unit or scholarship fund).
