Workshops Set to Raise Awareness About Disabilities in the Workplace
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance will host workshops in October to raise awareness about the accommodations available in the workplace. These sessions are intended for U of A staff, faculty and students to raise awareness as well as provide tools and resources pertaining to individuals with disabilities in the workplace.

- 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 — Requesting a Reasonable Accommodation — The Administration Building Room 429, 1125 West Maple Street. Presenter: Toya Williams, associate director and compliance officer, Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance.
- 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 — Everything You Want to Know About ADA Employment Requirements — This program will be live-streamed. Information about logging into the session will be provided to registrants the day prior to the session. Presenter: Sashikala Nisankarao, legal specialist for the Southwest ADA Center.
