Fayetteville Policies and Procedures: New Policies

The following Fayetteville Policy and Procedures have been approved:

  • 206.7 Export Control Compliance
    • In order to engage in research activities which include the collaboration of foreign colleagues and graduate students, investigators must comply with certain restrictive Federal regulations called, collectively, "export control regulations." The purpose of these regulations is to control the dissemination of information and/or materials which may have bearing on our national security, and this policy outlines the rules and expectations for all employees and other persons acting as representatives of the University, including at off-campus locations.
  • 209.7 Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) Review and Approval
    • This policy articulates necessary biological safety measures and protocols in connection with research involving the use of recombinant and synthetic nucleic acid molecules (rDNA); microorganisms; biological toxins; bloodborne pathogens; human and nonhuman primate materials; mammalian tumor cell lines; and transgenic plants and animals.

All policies may be viewed on the web at Fayetteville Policies and Procedures.
