VoIP Training Offered Aug. 1 and 8

IT Services is offering two training sessions in early August to help familiarize faculty and staff with the new VoIP system and its features. Learn more and register for the following sessions:

In addition to scheduled training, departments can also take advantage of customized group sessions. If you are interested in setting up VoIP training for your department or office, contact Chuck Mitchell.

"Some of the best and most attended VoIP training sessions have been customized for departments," said Chuck Mitchell, coordinator of professional development, training and outreach. "The new VoIP phone system provides many options never possible before; these training opportunities teach individuals and departments how to use their new phones in the most efficient way."

To date, 525 campus phone users have attended training, and over 150 members of the campus IT community have received technical training to support VoIP within their colleges and departments.

The campuswide VoIP phone upgrade, which began in February this year, has now been completed for nearly all of the campus community. Learn more about VoIP at the U of A.
