VoIP Phone Update to Improve Call Quality

VoIP Phone Update to Improve Call Quality
University of Arkansas

A software update for all VoIP desk phones will take place this Friday, June 21, between midnight and 2 a.m.

The update is expected to resolve reported audio quality issues and improve stability for the campus phone system. A brief outage of approximately five minutes per phone will occur. Users should not need to log back into their phones after the update.

IT Services will continue to release periodic, scheduled software updates to improve the quality of the VoIP system.

If you are experiencing issues with your VoIP phone, please report these to the IT Help Desk at help.uark.edu
