Candidates for Dean of Libraries to Visit Campus

Candidates for the position of dean of University Libraries will be on campus April 18, 22 and 24 to meet with faculty, staff and administrators and to give public presentations on the topic Challenges and Opportunities for the Contemporary University Library. All presentations will be held at 3:30 p.m. in Shollmier Hall, Room 250 of Vol Walker Hall, and a public reception will follow each presentation at 4:30 p.m. in the Fred and Mary Smith Gallery, Vol Walker Room 142. A recording will be made available after each presentation via Blackboard. A UARK login will be required to view the recordings.  

John Weaver, dean of Library Services and Educational Technology at Abilene Christian University, is the first candidate to present. Candidate names will be released the day before they are scheduled to present.
