FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The award-winning Colorado bluegrass band Trout Steak Revival, will perform at the Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center at the University of Arkansas at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 29. The University of Arkansas Children’s Choir will join the group as featured performers on two songs during the concert. 

Trout Steak Revival won the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition in 2014. More recently, Westword named them Denver’s Best Bluegrass Band and they were nominated as a Momentum Band of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association. 

The five band members all share lead and harmony vocals, work together on original songs, and all play instruments, including fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bass, banjo and dobro.  For more information about the band please visit their www.troutsteak.com.

The University of Arkansas Children’s Choir began in 1997, under the direction or Rachel Cornett, will join the band on stage for a special performance. The University of Arkansas Children's Choir began in 1997 and has grown to be one of the most distinguished youth choral programs in the region. This group of over 

100 students, under the direction or Rachel Cornett, focuses on singing a diverse selection of choral music.

Ticket prices are $10 for students, faculty and staff; $15 for senior citizens; $20 for the general public.
