Sign up for Second Annual Graduate-Professional Student Congress Research Colloquium
The Graduate-Professional Student Congress will host its second annual Graduate Student Research Colloquium from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in the Arkansas Union (rooms 509-10). This event is open to all graduate and professional students at the University of Arkansas. The GPSC strongly encourages all interested to sign up (it's a great CV line).
All faculty, staff, and students on campus are welcome to stop by at any time during the event, enjoy light refreshments, and marvel at the amazing research being done by our graduate and professional students in the form of posters and brief communications (oral presentations).
In its inaugural year, the GPSC is extremely proud to have provided travel funding for nearly 50 graduate students to attend conferences and showcase their research. Those grant recipients will be headlining the event and providing the campus community a glimpse of what they presented to conference-goers around the world over the past year.
Space is limited and will be given on a first come first served basis. Funding for posters and other materials may be available.
The Graduate Research Council will award the top two presentations with a $50 Amazon.com gift card (first place) and a $25 Amazon.com gift card (second place) along with commemorative plaques.
