Nominations for Alexis Arguello Service Award Being Accepted

The Alexis "Ali" Arguello Service Award will be awarded to a senior student majoring in supply chain management.

Ali Arguello was a senior studying supply chain management in the Sam M. Walton College of Business when she passed away suddenly in 2016. Arguello was heavily involved in helping others during her lifetime with a variety of service related initiatives primarily involving volunteering and assisting others in need. This award was created in her memory to recognize others who give back to their communities and organizations.

The criteria for this award are to be a graduating senior majoring in supply chain management (graduation of summer 2018, fall 2018, or anticipated in spring 2019) who has provided outstanding service to others.

Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to nominate students for this award. Self-nominations are acceptable. To submit a nomination please email Carole Shook at shook@uark.edu a short paragraph detailing service related involvement and how the student has given back to others during their college career along with name, graduation date, and email address of the nominee.

Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13.
