Learn About the Peace Corps at Story Slam

Do you have a passion for service and a heart for exploring new cultures? If so, the Peace Corps could be a good fit for you.

Learn about the Peace Corps at Story Slam from noon-1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, in the Holcombe Hall Living Room.

The event is a celebration of the 58th anniversary of the founding of the Peace Corps. Returned Peace Corps volunteers will share stories about their service and answer questions about their experiences.

Returned volunteers sharing their stories are:

  • Justin Barnum, volunteered in Cape Verde
  • James Flammer, volunteered in Thailand
  • Jessica Ginger, volunteered in Moldova
  • Mary Beth Lemoine, volunteered in Lesotho
  • Mary Alice Serafini, volunteered in Sierra Leone

Others who have served in the Peace Corps are welcome to share their stories too.

Lunch will be provided. RSVP is appreciated, but is not required.
