Faculty Invited to Submit Interdisciplinary Symposia Proposals

Faculty are invited to submit proposals by March 8 for symposia to foster interdisciplinary research at the university. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation has initiated Symposia to Trigger Interdisciplinary Rearch, or STIR, to increase awareness of key research priorities, bring together faculty who have shared interests and facilitate the formation of interdisciplinary research teams.

These symposia must be centered around an interdisciplinary theme. They should  consist of a keynote speaker and breakout sessions, and include participation by funding agencies or potential industry partners.
