Workshop Highlights Early Career Opportunities From NSF and DOE
Junior faculty who are interested in early career opportunities are invited to a workshop hosted by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation. It will take place from 1:30-4:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 12.
During the workshop, faculty will participate in activities designed to help them craft proposals for the National Science Foundation's Faculty Early Career Development Program, the Department of Energy's Early Career Research Program and others.
All junior faculty who are eligible for these programs — typically, tenure track faculty in their first five years — are encouraged to participate.
Space is limited, and participants must RSVP by March 5. To RSVP, send an email to research@uark.edu with the subject line "RSVP CAREER workshop." For more information, see the Research website or contact Ralph Davis at ralphd@uark.edu.
