Free Webinar to Highlight Strategy and Finance in Project Selection

The campus community and members of the public are invited to a free webinar at noon Thursday, Feb. 21, about how to select projects with a focus on strategic and financial factors.

This webinar is part of the Engineering and Operations Management Lunch and Learn Webinar Series.

The webinar, titled "Project Selection: The $1 Trillion Decisions," will be presented by Leonard Nethercutt, instructor in the Master of Science in Operations Management Program.

This webinar will discuss project selection with a focus on both strategic and financial factors.  Project selection directly influences the future results of a business either positively or negatively over time.  During this presentation, attendees will examine the important link between strategic management, project management, and operations management to create future results and value.

Attendees will learn project selection methods and tips to help your organization make a positive impact on the future of your business.

Nethercutt's business background and experience include several closely held entrepreneurial ventures that run the gamut from management and tax consulting/representation services, multi-state retail operations in partnership with major oil companies, wholesale petroleum distributor, software development, and licensed investment adviser representative. His roles generally aligned with the functions performed by the CEO/CFO.

Nethercutt is a full-time instructor with the MSOM program and started with the program in 1997 as an adjunct instructor.

The webinar will begin at noon. Registration is required. Click here to sign up.
