Demo New VoIP Phones Tomorrow in Arkansas Union

Starting in February, IT Services will introduce a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solution to replace the current phone system at the University of Arkansas.

To ensure the campus is informed in advance the project team will hold a phone demonstration event on Friday at the Tech Spot in the Arkansas Union. Faculty and staff are encouraged to drop by to try the new VoIP phones and ask questions between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

A third Town Hall event is also planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, in room 504 of the Arkansas Union. During the event, the team will give an overview of the project and answer questions.

Additional phone demonstration events are scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tech Spot in the Arkansas Union on the following dates:

  • Friday, Jan. 18
  • Wednesday, Jan. 23
  • Tuesday, Jan. 29
