Signs indicate time limits for free parking

As classes get started today, Transit and Parking reminds drivers of the slight changes in both the Harmon Avenue Parking Garage and in the Garland Avenue Parking Garage that were announced previously.

In Harmon, the change will mean that levels 1-7 are only for those with a Harmon permit; levels 8-9 and the ramp that connects 8 and 9 are for those who use metered parking.

As in the past, those who park in a metered space should pay for parking at one of the designated pay stations or with the Whoosh! app.

Pay stations in the garage are located on levels 1, 2, 4, and 6.

Signs will provide clear reminders.

In Garland, the time allotted in free parking spaces has been reduced from 45 minutes to 30 minutes.

Signs in Garland clearly indicate the change.

With changes such as these, Transit and Parking always provides information via Arkansas Newswire, email, and social media.
