Education Agencies' Use of Evidence Lecture Topic
A specialist in education program evaluations will speak Nov. 2 on campus.
Cara Jackson, an associate partner with the national nonprofit Bellwether Education Partners, will discuss "Evidence Use in Federal, Local and Non-Profit Education Agencies."
The program will be at noon in Room 343 of the Graduate Education Building. The Friday series is hosted by the Department of Education Reform of the College of Education and Health Professions.
Jackson earned a doctorate in education policy at the University of Maryland with a master's from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She has worked in public school district administration and as a senior analyst on federal education policy at the U.S. Government Accountability Office.
The noon to 1 p.m. program includes a light lunch those who register online before 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31.
