Pryor Center Offers 'An Evening With John Brummett' on Wednesday

The David and Barbara Pryor Center for Arkansas Oral and Visual History and the University of Arkansas Retirement Association are pleased to invite you to An Evening with John Brummett.
The discussion with John Brummett will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the Pryor Center located at 1 East Center, across from the Old Post Office on the Fayetteville Square.
If you read Brummett's columns in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, his online blog, or perhaps follow him on Twitter, you are familiar with his straight-talking, no nonsense style of political analysis. Please join the Pryor Center for a lively, educational evening with an opportunity to engage in discussion and ask questions with perhaps the state's most listened to political analyst.
Brummett is a native of Little Rock who has been working for Arkansas newspapers for 42 years, ever since getting a part-time sports desk job with the former Arkansas Democrat a few days past his 16th birthday. He has been a columnist since February 1986 and won several state and two national awards for commentary from the Association of State Capitol Reporters and Editors. He authored a book on Bill Clinton's first year as president, titled High Wire, published in 1994.
The event is free and open to the public.
