Discover a Land of Ancient Mysteries and Natural Beauty at Global Series: Egypt

The evening will feature a presentation by several of our Egyptian students as well as samples of a traditional dish, an Egyptian macaroni Bechamel.

Egypt is situated at the northeast corner of Africa and reaches across to the southwest corner of Asia through the Sinai Peninsula.

"I would like the community to learn about Egypt and to let them know about the aspects of Egypt that they don't see in media and also to change some of the stereotypes that exist sometimes," said presenter Mona Ahmed, an Egyptian student .

"One thing I love about Egypt is the beauty of the south. Although it's not as popular as Cairo, it has the kindest people and the prettiest nature."

This event is open to all within the university community. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends and engage with the presenters after the presentation. Tea and food will follow along with an opportunity to take photos in the themed photo booth.

Global Series is an on-going program with past programs including India, Pakistan, Ukraine, Russia, and Great Britain.
