Explore Great Britain at Holcombe Hall's Global Series

Discover Great Britain during this month's Holcombe Global Series.

The presentation starts at 8 p.m. today, Sept. 26, in Holcombe Hall's living room.

The evening will feature a presentation by two of our British exchange students.

Dan Hawkins, one of the presenters, will share information about his country and address stereotypes that often stem from this region.

"I would like people to learn how diverse our country is in terms of culture, mannerisms and ethnic backgrounds," Hawkins said. "I want the community to learn about the depth of our country and the communities it contains."

Britain is the ninth-largest island in the world and is located in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of continental Europe.

This event is open to all within the university community. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends and engage with the presenters after the presentation. Tea and food will follow along with an opportunity to take photos in the themed photo booth.

Global Series is an on-going program with past programs including India, Pakistan, Ukraine, and Russia.
