Sign Up for Safe Zone Allies Training to Be Held Friday

Safe Zone Allies Orientation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, in Arkansas Union 403. Safe Zone Allies is a network of educated and supportive allies for LGBTQ students, faculty and staff at the University of Arkansas. The training is an orientation designed to promote awareness and the education of the LGBTQ-plus community by exploring and discussing sexual and gender identities and the meaning and purpose of allies.

At the U of A diversity means the inclusion of and respect for the variety of experiences and characteristics that keep our campus community vibrant. We celebrate the many dimensions of ethnicity, age, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ability, socioeconomic background, personal history and intellectual perspective.

Safe Zone Allies Orientation is personal and professional development supported through the Human Resources training courses. Please register here.
