Emerging Leaders Sign Up Now Open

Emerging Leaders is an engaging leadership development program designed for students seeking to develop their leadership skills. The program assists students in four primary areas: intrapersonal skills, interpersonal communication, inclusion and diversity, and professionalism.

This six-week program provides students a chance to meet new people, explore new ideas, and become more involved in university-wide leadership opportunities. These opportunities lead to involvement in student government, student organization officer positions, residence hall leadership, and student mentor positions.

The Emerging Leaders program is open to all first and second-year students. Sessions are from 4-5:30 p.m. Monday or Tuesday. At the conclusion of the program, all students are expected to participate in a self-selected service project.

Student participant applications are available Aug. 27 to Sept. 13. Apply at HogSync.
